Can I try it out?

Yes! We will first validate that your address is in a serviceable area.  After you bring the equipment home, if for any reason you are unsatisfied, we offer a 15-day guarantee. Simply return your Nokia FastMile Gateway and your service can be discontinued.

What are the expected speeds?

In general, customers find speeds sufficient for their internet needs including streaming video, online shopping, browsing social media, and work from home.  Speeds will vary by location. Customers may experience slower speeds if they are on the outer areas of our coverage. Cellcom will always deliver the best speeds possible to our users. 

Can this internet support gaming, VOIP, work applications?

Yes! Cellcom home internet can support a variety of data-intensive activities like gaming, internet voice and video calling, streaming, work applications and more. 

Are speeds of this service impacted by the number of users on a tower?

No. Our new home internet product has network controls in place to ensure you have a consistent experience even during high traffic. 

What is the equipment and/or set-up fee?

This equipment is free with a 36/month flex agreement for a limited time (a $399.99 value) and can easily be self-installed in your home – no professional installation required. 

Can I take this internet with me when I travel?

No. This service is assigned to specific tower/location to ensure optimal user experience. You cannot take it to different addresses. If you’re interested in traveling with your internet, we’d suggest a Mifi.

How is this home internet solution different than using a Mifi?

With dedicated technology, you’ll experience faster speeds than with a Mifi and can also connect more devices at a time. There are also no data caps with our home internet product. A Mifi requires a set data package and allows you to connect on the go. Cellcom offers both solutions depending on your needs.

Is there a credit check?

For new Cellcom customers, our standard credit check process will apply. 

Do you offer your TV product with this home internet service?

No, this service does not have a TV offering, but can support your favorite streaming providers.

For setup the instructions say the gateway needs to be by a window. Once set-up, can I move the gateway?

No, the gateway should always remain by a window.

Pricing shown includes $5 off per month for internet service when committing to Autopay (checking and savings accounts only, no credit or debit cards) and paperless bill (email confirmation required to be signed up for paperless bill) and $5 off per month when home internet and Cellcom wireless service is bundled. 

Wi-Fi service may fluctuate due to many factors, but not limited to square footage of your home or business, materials within your home or business, other devices operating within your home or business.
